Design International at MAPIC 2024

We are thrilled to announce our participation in MAPIC 2024, the international retail real estate and property event. Taking place from November 26-28, 2024, at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, the event gathers global industry leaders to shape the future of retail and mixed-use developments. You can find our team at Stand R7.L13.

At MAPIC 2024, Design International will highlight three groundbreaking projects that exemplify our commitment to creating transformative spaces that blend commerce, community, and culture:

1. Livat Shanghai

Livat Shanghai Meeting Place, a bold fusion of architecture, culture, and community, that aims to transform an empty and contaminated plot of land in the centre of Hongqiao district of Shanghai into a dynamic and well-connected urban destination that work as a community centre for the whole neighbourhood. The project opened in September 2024 and on the first day 130,000 people visited the space.

2. Lykli Noida

As India’s urban landscapes evolve, Lykli Noida stands as a beacon of innovation. A transit-oriented mixed-use development, blending retail, offices and hospitality, that aims to create a city landmark that fosters identity and belonging through the power of design. The site is situated on the edge of Sector 51 in the National Capital Region (NCR) and is located approximately 15 km east of Delhi’s city centre. It is positioned at a busy road junction and marks the intersection of two bustling metro lines - the Aqua Line (Sector 51 Station) of the Noida metro, and the Blue Line (Sector 52 Station), an extension of the Delhi metro in the city of Noida.

3. Maximall Pompeii

This shopping destination is directly connected the UNESCO World Heritage Site at the foot of the Vesuvio volcano and its design is a statement to our commitment to creating dynamic environments that blend shopping, leisure, nature and cultural experiences. Maximall Pompeii is due to open this November.

"We are honored to be part of MAPIC 2024, a platform that celebrates innovation and collaboration in retail real estate," said Lucio Guerra, Chief Design Officer at Design International. "These three projects reflect our dedication to creating spaces that are not only visually striking but also deeply connected to the communities they serve."

Join us at Stand R7.L13 at MAPIC 2024 to explore how we are shaping the future of architecture and retail through creativity, innovation, and sustainability.
